In old times there was not much awareness and exposure for everyone . With Modern time things have changed and people are more aware and educated . Technology has given a big world and huge exposure to everyone.Modern parenting tends to prioritize open communication, child approaches, and fostering emotional intelligence, while traditional parenting typically relies on stricter rules, hierarchical authority, and a stronger emphasis on obedience, with less focus on children’s emotional needs and perspectives.

Traditional parenting often uses strict rules and punishments to make them disciplined while modern parenting focuses on positive reinforcement, open dialogue, and understanding the child’s emotions to address behavior issues.

Communication:
Modern parents encourage two-way communication, valuing their child’s opinions, while traditional parenting might have a more top-down approach where parents primarily instruct and always guide them till their last breath.

Decision-making:
Modern parenting involves more collaboration with children, allowing them to have a voice in decisions, whereas traditional parenting usually has the parent as the ultimate authority figure. They don’t like that their words are not obeyed

Focus on development:
Modern parenting emphasizes holistic development including emotional, social, and creative aspects alongside academics, while traditional parenting may prioritize purely academic achievement. They believe in regular income and security.

Technology usage:
Modern parents readily incorporate technology into their children’s lives for learning and communication, while traditional parenting might be more cautious about screen time. They still believe in manual work.

Time and care
Modern parents dont have sufficient time to spend with their kids ,as both are working. They provide facilities for their activities and care.where as in traditional parenting mother use to be at home only and looking after kids all the time . Parents used to have time to keep a check on kids.
