A big concern of sexual harassment at workplace . Women have the right to work in a place which is protected ,secure, free from discrimination violence. The sexual harassment of women at workplace prevention prohibition and redressel act 2013 was noted fight by the Indian parliament on December 2013. The main objective of the act is to ensure that women feel safe at the workplace. The law has imposed duty of providing a safe working environment for women on the employer. The implementation of the law by employees begins with the following few major actions.
- Provide the safe working environment at the workplace which shell also include safety from outsider is coming into the contact at the workplace.
- Constitute internal committee, mandatory declared the name and contact details of members of the internal committee
- Organise and hold orientation programs for IC members and monitor timely submission after report by IC to the government
- Drive awareness through virtual as well offline training for existing employees and new joiners.
But law will work only if we have proper system and implementation of law. So we must have regular check on all the corporate as well government sectors in matter of this. Above all women has to be aware about their rights and law. They have to take stand and need to raise for their self .
